Who: Nikita and Caroline
What: Spies and Vampires
When: Sometime
Where: Mystic Falls
Notes: Aww yeah B)
By the time she'd come across the news of Division's latest recruits, she was almost too late. They already had a handful in their grasp, several were dead, and a new wave was about to find out what it was like to be "interesting" to the agency. She found it hard to believe the newcomers were being called "Vampires." She wondered exactly what this designation meant. In her experience, Division was pretty literal with their classifications. It was too much to think that it was just that. Vampires were things in movies and books, not something she ran into in the field.
Her hands gripped the steering wheel tighter. Her already pale knuckles whitened as she saw the sign for Mystic Falls. Her car hadn't seemed to drive fast enough as she raced against the clock. By luck, Birkhoff had fallen across the file of their next target: Caroline Forbes. She looked to be a happy young girl, with a face Division loved to have within their ranks. She wouldn't let Division get her.
She checked the address one last time as she pulled up in front of a house matching it. It didn't look like Division had hit the scene yet. Once they did, she would have only minutes to find a way to get the girl safely out of harm's way. And then she'd have to offer her a new beginning; Division wouldn't let her just walk away from them.
Nikita strode up to the front door with purpose and confidence. She knocked and waited impatiently for it to open. She kept her eyes on the road and her ears alert for any sounds of oncoming traffic.
